You want to make some pallet crafts or projects, such as this, but you do not have the wood required. That’s not a problem, pallets are usually easy to come by and can be found in many places such as industrial parks by the roads, behind businesses (check to make sure you can take them legally), or on sites like craigslist. I have a few locations that I get my pallets from, each one has different style pallets made from different wood. What pallets I go get all depends on what I’m making for projects out of that wood.
Now that you have your pallets you are going to have to take them apart. There are many different ways to take apart pallets, some are easier then others. Below is a YouTube video I made on my channel, Finck Fabrications, that shows the easiest way to take apart a pallet with a circular saw. Taking apart a pallet this way is a fast way to make shorter pieces while still saving the larger support pieces to be used in other projects. Check out the video below.
