Notes From the Bottle:
Incredibly smooths and perfectly balanced. Peter meets Paul with a peck. Bob meets Betty with a bushel. They give the apples to Adam. How many apples are in this can? Think it over while drinking this cider. For best results, enjoy this cider in the spirit of Vermont- Cold and in good company. -Stowe Cider
The Core Review:
Once you crack open this cider it gives off a bit of apple on the nose, but not too much. Once you take your first sip you will be pleasantly surprised with the mouth feel of this cider as it is a nice medium body cider, that lets the flavors coat your entire palate. The taste of this cider starts with a bit of apple then fades into what I can only describe as a slightly woody characteristic. This flavor fades away quickly leaving a slight lingering apple flavor. The back end of this cider also features a little bit of acid that balances it nicely that is not over powering and fades fast.
The Final Press:
Overall this is not a bad cider. It is a well balanced easy drinking cider that does the job at 6.5%. The one thing that is a draw back for me personally a slight woody taste on the mid palate, but with that said, I would still drink this cider if it was given to me.
