Notes From the Bottle:

Feels Like Home is a New England style cider fermented on rum-soaked oak and blended with fresh juice. It’s the perfect companion for overcoming the winter blues and bringing out some warmer, cozier vibes. -Artifact Cider Project

The Core Review:

This can initially drew me in because of its awesome label, I mean, who doesn’t love buffalo plaid. After the initial love fest was over I cracked into this can and gave it a good sniff, and was met with a clean, fresh, apple smell. This is probably from the cider being blended with fresh juice before canning. The fresh apple smell doesn’t stop just at the nose, as it is at the forefront of every sip of this cider. The fresh, tart apple flavor begins to fade as time wears on leaving your mouth watering and craving that next sip, which is a good thing when the name of the game is to sell more cider!

The one thing that I can’t seem to find when drinking this cider is any hint of the rum soaked oak chips that this cider is fermented over, which is unfortunate, because they sound wonderful.

The Final Press:

On final review, this is a great cider that is easy to drink. It has a clean, crisp apple flavor on the front end and a slightly astringent and acidic back end that primes you for the next sip. Go out and pick up a 4 pack of these cans, you won’t be disappointed.
