Cidre Blanc by ANXO Cider: Hard Cider Review

This ciders nose reminds me of a white wine laced with a bit of apple. The first sip of this cider is acid heavy, like the cidery claims, and I like it. Its bright, light, and almost tastes like water right out of the gate when the cider first enters your mouth, which is a weird sensation. Once that cider has a chance to hang around a bit it fades into slight apple and light apricot notes as stated above. The back end of this cider is surprisingly smooth and balanced with its complete dryness and how present the acid is in lifting the front end of the drink. The ciders balance at the end leaves no astringent sensations and almost hints at a sweetness. Once the fruit notes fade your left with a faint tartness which slowly dissipates into a nice clean finish.

On a side note, in the 20 minutes it took me to write this review, the carbonation in my glass faded to a petillant cider level, which upped my appreciation of the drink.
